Every one who reads this that are from any small town in the UK  like my Carmarthen Town would know how mundane and repetitive that living in these close nit communities can be. With the same dull pubs, the same dull clubs and dealing with people day in day out. Its almost no wonder why people leaving in droves to the big promising cities like Cardiff, Bristol and London.

I could go on all day about this but i leave the great John Cooper Clark to sum this up with his poem/song “Chicken town”.

I could tell you the story about what happened when he came and played in Carmarthen. But i think thats a tale left to Ben Linedamage to tell you. He seems to love trying to shame me up with this yarn. Thing is i find it just as funny.
