R.I.P Toasty Boy

toasty boyEver since Damien Russell (the man behind Toasty boy) decided to hang up the Toasty boots and not do the Dubstep thing any more I’m one that sure misses him. This man is easily a major influence  in crafting the early stages of what is now the Dubstep scean. You can hear how with amazing tunes like The Knowledge, Like Sun, Angel, Dibble and the lovely Skinny. All truly fantastic bits of work.

What ever Damien decides to do i hope he as much as an influence as he was when he was Toasty Boy.

    Nice for the info. I’ve just been delving into his old tunes on youtube and decided to see if he was still producing and found your article.

    Hearing his early tunes on 1xtra really excited me and were the start of my love for dubstep (even if his tunes weren’t technically dubstep)
